2020年、約40年の時を隔てて浜は津軽を再訪する。かつてカメラを手に歩いた漁港や農村は賑わいを失い、時の流れが廃屋や空地の目立つ風景に深く刻み込まれていた。浜は「この津軽行きがなければこの写真集は作らなかっただろう」と語る。 浜がはじめて津軽を訪れたのは1975年、半島の北端では青函トンネルの工事が本格化している頃だった。それでも津軽にはかろうじて共同体が息づき、北の人々の構えのない暮らしぶりがあった。大地と海に抱かれるように暮らし、長い冬を終えては短い夏のひとときに夏祭りに興じる人々の姿。同 …– Events

暗闇に浮かび上がる街灯、家々の灯り。1970年代半ばに撮影された東京の夜。商店や集合住宅、バラックは、くっきりとしたディーテイルを帯びて佇んでいる。ここに写されているのは失われた風景、すなわち浜自身がのちに身をもって体感することとなるバブル期の地上げ以前に、確かに存在していた風景である。同時にそれは、敗戦後のゼロ地平に築きあげられてきた復興の証でもある。埋め立てられたばかりの東京湾の風景で締めくくられるこのシリーズは、やがて訪れる大規模な都市開発の予感に満ちている。「VACANT LAND」の空 …– Exhibition
